Donald P. Lenze(1953 - 2015)
Donald P. Lenze, 61, of 368 Toby Rd., Kersey, died Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at his residence after a lengthy illness.
He was born Aug. 1, 1953 in St. Marys, son of the late Albert and Mary Martha Bauer Lenze.
On Jan. 31, 1981, in the St. Boniface Church, he married Suzanne M. Vollmer and she survives.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys High School, Class of 1972. He was an employee of the Keystone Powdered Metal Co.
Donald was a member of the Fox Township Sportsmen's Club, was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He also enjoyed gardening and being with his children and family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Dawn Rice and her husband Bill of Pittsburgh, Katherine Sarginger and her husband Chris of St. Marys, Melissa Orner and her husband Jamie of Emporium; two sons, Paul J. Lenze and his wiife Alison of Erie, Kenneth S. Lenze and Debra Erich of Kersey; three grandchildren, Alexis Rose Sarginger, Jacob Thomas Sarginger and Violet Marie Rice; a sister, Mary Zelt and her husband Jerome of St. Marys; a brother, David Lenze and his wife Suzanne of St. Marys; his mother-in-law, Patricia Vollmer of St. Marys and by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Lenze.
Family and friends of Donald P. Lenze are invited to attend funeral services to be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Saturday, May 30 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, officiating.
There will be no visitation.
