William Christian “Corky” Conarchy IV passed away peacefully in his home on February 14, 2022 at the age of 64 years. Loving father of William Christian Conarchy V and Bridgette (Alex) Palm. Cherished brother of Mary M. Conarchy, Bridget (Eric) Fonstad, Jane M. Conarchy, Anne (Thomas) Uttich, Maureen (Mark) Hargarten and Kyran (Jacqueline) Conarchy. Beloved uncle of Kevin (Laura Chang) Uttich, Caitlin (Sam Thompson) Hargarten, Megan (Bri) Fonstad Deyo, Katie Uttich, Rory (Betsy) Conarchy, Rachel Thomas, Ryan Hargarten, Erin Uttich and Spencer Zuberbuehler. Grand Uncle to Gavin, Elizabeth, Otis, Etta, Kyran, Mahlon, Ronan & Declan. Corky is lovingly remembered by his many cousins, friends, and fellow Brewers fans.
William was born to William Christian and Mary Elizabeth Conarchy on March 12, 1957 in Milwaukee, WI.
His love of sports spanned the course of his life, though more recently from his favorite recliner or his season-ticket holder seats at Miller Park. Fiercely proud of his Irish roots, Corky was always willing to lend a hand to family and cherished friends. He would strike up a conversation with anyone; he made many friends as a delivery truck driver and as a proudly sober member of AA for over 20 years. His encyclopedic knowledge of music to sports to history will be missed as much as his infectious grin and his big heart.
Visitation is from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, with a procession of life at 10:15 and funeral liturgy at 10:30 AM on February, 26, 2022 at St. Bernard Parish, 1500 N. Wauwatosa Ave., Wauwatosa, WI 53213. Private entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission or a charity of your choice.
