Robert M. Fuenffinger, 83, of 170 Meadow Rd., Emporium, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 22, 2015 at his residence.
He was born Nov. 28, 1931 in St. Marys, a son of the late Louis and Irene Rigard Fuenffinger.
On Aug. 20, 1955 in St. Mary's Church, he married the late Patricia Bush Fuenffinger.
Mr. Fuenffinger graduated from St. Marys Area High School. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Bob worked for Keystone Carbon for over 19 years and later at GKN, Emporium, where he worked more than 24 years before retiring. He was a member of the Gardeau Community Church, the Miller-Raffaele Post 6221, VFW, the American Legion Olkosky-Jessop Post 194, Emporium and the Emporium Lodge #382, F.and A.M.
Bob enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by one son, Curtis Fuenffinger of Emporium; three daughters, Susan Fuenffinger of Emporium, Lori Pacifico of Erie and Leanna (Bryan) Trost of Erie; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Ann Hugus; and two brothers, Dennis and Melvin Fuenffinger.
A Funeral Service for Robert M. Fuenffinger will be held at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 N. Michael St., St. Marys on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 11 a.m. A Military Service will follow, conducted by the St. Marys Servicemen's Detail.
Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Saturday morning one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in the St. Marys Protestant Cemetery, St. Marys.
Lynch-Green Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
