• Notes

Robert Casey Lane states: Uncle Charley was one of those people who knew how to fix anything. Dad was the antithesis of a handyman, so when Mother grew desperate for appliance repairs, Uncle Charley would come to the rescue. Uncle Charley and Aunt Mary stayed on the West Side. Uncle Charley was buried from St. Mel's, the parish in which they had grown up.
