AUST, age 73, of Austell, GA, formerly of Athens, GA, passed away Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008 at Presbyterian Village in Austell, GA. A native of Cleveland, OH, he was a son of the late Raymond and Genevieve Dietrich Aust and was of the Church of God faith. He was the leader of the Don Aust Polka Band and an accomplished accordion player. His band was featured on TV in the Cleveland area. He played at Otto's Restaurant on the west side of Cleveland and also wrote and published some of his polka music. He also played voluntarily at nursing homes. Mr. Aust was preceded in death by a brother, Tom (Thomas) Aust on April 8, 2004. Survivors include his daughter, Mary Beth Keefer of Sidney, OH; sister-in-law, Dottie (Dorothy) Aust of Medina, OH; and aunt, Lucille Sich of Elyria, OH. Graveside services were held in Georgia.
